Ok, so obviously I'm new here, I've been owning my 1979 CB750L for just over 2 years now and after doing A LOT of google searches since then I somehow have never come across this site. Now I've found it and here I am.
A little about the bike. I bought it in August 2007 from what turned out to basically be an estate sale. It was at a Honda dealership as part of their collection but actually owned by an elderly man who was soon to pass, I guess the family just wanted to get rid of it and I was the lucky one to get my hands on it. I bought it with only 3620 original mile on it and am the 2nd owner. I haven't ridden it much since I've had it, somewhere around 500-600 miles, mostly because of reliability issues. That's pretty much fixed now so when it warms up again I plan to get that odometer moving a little. As far as I know the only thing that isn't original to the bike is one of the side covers and the turn signals, which I had to install, not sure about the exhaust, I've seen some pics with the 4-to-2 but others with the 4-to-4. All together I think this is an awesome bike and I absolutely love it, I think it'll be with me for quite a while...although if I do ever plan to sell it there's already a line of folks ready to buy!! Here's a pic, the only one I have online to post.

Wow! Nice. Good catch for you. Very nice bike and welcome here.
Are the reflectors on the headlight missing? Or is that just a Custom thing? |

Thanks everyone, I'm pretty happy with my find, I got it for $1800 and recently saw that someone in CA was trying to sell one for $8500!!! But at the same time seen some selling for $400 or $500. Either way I like to think that I got a pretty good deal
As far as the reflectors on the headlights, there weren't any on it when I got it. But it's possible that the previous owner took them off because they did take off the turn signals.
holysmokes, as for the armourall, I don't use it, that's just the condition the seat is in, all I've ever done is wipe it down with a damp cloth. |

just curious...why do you call yourself "Chris" in the post title, and "CB750Lee" as a screen name? did the Witness Protection Program tell you to do that? |

My first name is Chris.......my last name is Lee. I usually use my last name in my screen names. So, since the bike is a CB750L I figured just add the "ee" and....BAM!!!....there's my screen name, my bike and my last name, all in one!!! |
