Just bought a 1981 CB750 Custom. Its my first bike and I love it. It is stock with 26k on it and 4 in 1 exhaust. I rode it for 1 day before th carbs started acting up. It was parked for at least 2 years before I bought it. I'm hoping to stop chasing dirt through the floats and actually ride it again. Anyway, I love the forum. Thanks. |

You might want to add an inline fuel filter good to at least 60 microns . |

Welcome, these guys are a great help with our old bikes. If yours has been sitting for a while, get some fresh gas and a 1/2 can of Sea Foam through it. that stuff helps with gummy carbs. |

Welcome to DOHC Customs
A nice full carb clean with soap and water is what you really need to do.
But, you will probably find that you need new insulators and float bowl gaskets & float nneedles.
Polish the float seats with Brasso and Q-Tips. |
