Jim Bourne from Calgary. Picked up a non-running CB1000C Custom 3 weeks ago and so far I've done the brakes, cleaned up the carbs and installed them and it's running although I believe I need to do a carb job... It won't actually idle properly until it's warmed up (I have to keep priming with a spray bottle) and it won't accelerate. |

Welcome to DOHC Customs.
You need to pull the carbs and clean the idle jets.
Make sure your airbox is in place. Will not run withuout it.
If the charging system is bad, the engine will not rev past 4500rpm. |
