Hey guys I just recently picked up a, somewhat beat up, 1982 750 custom. It run surprisingly well. Leaks oil out of every possible place, carb #2 leaks fuel. It was painted a god awful flat black thats chipped everywhere and exposing the chrome underneath. That being said I did pay 750$ for it. It has a great idle and consistent power thru the rev band.
I just ordered about 3k worth of parts for a complete teardown and rebuild. Ive never done one before . Cant wait though, I have plans for it and I'd love to be able to pick some of the wizards brains on here. Ive been burried in this forum for 100 hours so far in the last 2 weeks.
POD FILTERS! just kidding
Thanks for creating this forum. Ill need the help. |
