The Honda service manual ...
Only , set the clearances at .005" +/- .001" . NOT .002 as the manual states .

Download the FSM and addendum from our Technical Documents section , for FREE .

If you are looking for some additional guidance there are possibly some Youtube videos that can be helpful. You have to read between the lines sometimes but if you are anything like me and wish you had a more experienced mechanic beside you they can help.

If I recall correctly (and don't quote me on it) there is a guy named "For The Bold - dreegez" on Youtube that does a cafe racer build on a cb750. Check it out, you may find some value in his videos. I think he does a valve job adjustment on one of those videos.

And there's always this sticky in the tech section: http://www.cb750c.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2004

Search Valve Adjust, and you'll get a plethora of help...
