hey guys. im looking for a comprehensive valve adjustment guide here for my cb900c.
i know theres a quality carb guide. any kind of step by step for a valve job?
a link would be appreciated or any leads thanks in advance.
anyone with experience please chime in and any previous mistakes i will be sure to read carefully. |

The Honda service manual ...
Only , set the clearances at .005" +/- .001" . NOT .002 as the manual states .

If you are looking for some additional guidance there are possibly some Youtube videos that can be helpful. You have to read between the lines sometimes but if you are anything like me and wish you had a more experienced mechanic beside you they can help.
If I recall correctly (and don't quote me on it) there is a guy named "For The Bold - dreegez" on Youtube that does a cafe racer build on a cb750. Check it out, you may find some value in his videos. I think he does a valve job adjustment on one of those videos. |
