I just picked up a 1981 cb750C yesterday, really great condition, 25k miles. I'm wanting to go cafe style on it. The owner was a woman, she got a little teary eyed when I drove her away. I thought to myself, what am I getting into, I hope I don't cry if I ever get rid of this bike. I felt kind of bad; she had been in a car accident and couldn't ride anymore. She told me to send pictures and updates on it as I go. Anyways, on to a lighter subject, I started looking up information, found this forum, joined, started reading posts. Great forum, I'm really starting to enjoy it. I'm from Boise. I like to shoot stuff, drink beer, ride stuff(let your mind wander on this one). I have an 80 cx500 also that I'm rebuilding for my brother in Alaska. We're riding up to Seattle in May to crate and ship it up there for him. Here's a pic of my bike. You should really enjoy the bike in a couple of months when things warm up.
I have always been a little leary of going to Idaho. Don't they have a town by the name of Poke-a-fella?  |
