My wife and I decided to move back to the area after spending three years on the west coast. When we arrived, an old friend showed me his motorcycle that he had recieved for nothing after helping his boss move. When I asked him if it ran, his response was "it did a little bit last year, and there it sits"! Intrigued, I asked him what he was going to do with it? He said, "if you want it, it's yours"
I am now the proud owner of this fine 1982 Honda CB750 Custom; for which I paid nothing for.
I spend every chance I get, trying to learn as much as possible about this machine, so that I can get it road ready by May. |

Yeah, no doubt. I finally got smart and moved away from Michigan!
Grand Haven has really started to have an identity shift in the last decade. They're becoming widely known for gay activism and a summer film festival. (That's not a joke.)
Welcome to the forum anyway. |

Welcome to the site Tekno0980.
Three years ago, me and the wife went to Florida in February. Almost all of the people we talked to asked us "How can you stand Michigan in the winter?" Well, having heard this one too many times, I then asked them..... "How can you stand Florida in the summer?" |

I hear ya on the Florida comment, coming from a fellow Midwestern who lived in FL for 5 years. |
