Just registered for the forum. Spent a couple of hours looking around the site and there is a ton of information here.

I don't have a C bike at the moment but there are a few Fs in the yard and from what i have read this site is alot friendlier "that other place"

I am going to install a bank of carbs then sync them today. I will take a couple of pictures.

Pete also has an off road side car rig on another CB750F.

I finished the carbs on Pete's sidecar rig.

The project started out thinking there was stripped out cam chain tensioner threads. It turned out to be a snapped off bolt. The head had to come off. We used another one of the many heads Pete has laying around and I rebuilt it with Honda valve seals, the last ones I will use.
Pete put his carbs in to find the feeder tube o-rings were bad. I fixed that problem to find that his friend adjusted the float valves closed. I don't have a float guage, so I sold him the bank of 750 carbs I had for cheap money plus new float needles and installed them.
The bike did not want to start but, she finally kicked over for me to hear that I had forgotten to adjust the big cam chain and the idle adjutment screw on the carbs was frozen.
I had to pull the carbs so I could get the idle adjustment screw out. While I had them out, I changed the brass fuel inlet tube with one from the 79 carbs so it would match the petcock.
I pulled the valve cover off to adjust the cam chains. Once the chains were adjusted, I closed up the valve cover and replaced then syncronized the carbs.
The engine is running smoothly but, I feel it needs a big bore kit or an 1100 engine.

Ray and I have known each other for many years and he has helped me with serveral tasks which i would have either bodge in some way or completly ruined the part. Many many thanks Ray.

I never thought i would ever own a sidecar and some how i fell into the company of a bunch of these left footed aliens and you know what, it seemed like fun. And you know what aswell, it really is.

The red bike came together about 2 or 3 years ago. The bike I've had since '84 and was restored and repainted about 15 years ago, trouble was the engine was trash so i put a junkyard motor from a local breakers.

The sidecar was a mess. painted brown with a brush but after some sanding and filling and a fresh coat of red paint she looked as good as new

So eventually the motor started making way too much noise and it was time for a rebuild.

The off road bike i bought just a few months ago and again ther is some kind logic in the madness. I have a big trailey, and fell I off it one day (a tuesday afternoon) on a dirt path up in the mountains north of LA and the bugger was too heavy to pick up. Eventually, after much straining and levering i was able to get the bike up but it was too much of a struggle, hence the 3rd wheel.

I have ridden it as far as one battery charge will take it, (i thought i was on my way up to the Kern River for a bit of fly fishing) The tow truch guy was very suprised to see a sidecar painted in camo.

Thats pretty much the story of these two bikes. The camo bike's charging system will be fixed in the not too distant future and i'll keep you updated on it's and my adventures.

Look at the CB750F that was parked down the street from Pete's house today.

Both mufflers were cut off halfway with the baffles removed. I am so glad I did not have to hear that thing.

I've never seen one of these with a sidecar before looks like a hoot. If I had space, I'd dig one up on ebay just for kicks.

When Peter comes back from England after the wedding and has a few bucks to spend, I will fix his charging system for him.
I rode the red sidecar rig up and down the street in front of Pete's house, it was different to tell the truth. It pulls to the right on accel and pulls to the left on braking.
Definately a learned skill.

Peter brought the sidecar rig to my house and took Laurie for a ride.
She has not put a helmet on since March 4th 2007 to come for a ride with me but, my freind comes bye with a sidecar and Laurie grabs a helmet out of the bag off the shelf in a heart beat and is off to the races.
