What happened? Last time I looked, I signed up for a forum - and three days later the whole forum was gone...

...next thing I know, this one seems to have taken its place...

Yep. you missed a weekend of our service provider losing all the data whilst upgrading (corrupted backups) and the death of the most recent version of our board. I hope we're home to stay now!

Hello D-Day,

Glad to see the site is back up. It is a sick feeling to have found the CB900 site over a year ago and now it is gone! I as well as a lot of other people watched it grow and learned alot about my 900. (buy the way is this site going to serve the 750 family ie. 750-900-1000-1100's?) Then the 750-900-1000-1100 site in it's short time started up again......but! I never gave up and hoped that the site I bookmarked would eventually redirect me to a new site where we can all begin again, and hopefully enjoy some longevity. D-Day, I salute you for taking on this task!!!! Hope that some of the old guys like Old Timer,Wildcat,HolySmoke and Genesound,to name a few, make it back-I enjoyed their rehtoric and advice. Tony

We'll cover all the Customs (750-900-1000) and just about anything else you want to talk about. The 1100 only came in the F model and is well covered on www.cb1100f.net.

Welcome back!

I'd like to add my voice to the choirs of thanks(which is sure to come),I have "been there, done that" when it comes to losing forums to a corrupted backup.it's disappointing to lose such a wealth of valuable information.

Thanks D-day I'm just getting into the meat and potatoes of my bike and was really enjoying the help I was getting here. I also enjoyed all the other stuff that went on at the old site. So Thanks again and I'm sure that the whole crew will be here in a matter of time. It's the things about these bike even after 27 some odd years they keep people comming back.

Little bit. A sort of calm has fallen over me. Could be that we had a kick ass wedding and that every time I think about being married, I think about the beach in Monterey, CA that we got married on. Increases my mellow.

P.S. this site is much faster than the other one. Hossie likie.
