I'm Paul from Paoli,Indiana. The proud owner of a 1979 CB750 Ltd.

I have been lurking in the shadows here for awhile now learning alot from all of you.
And I just wanted to say thank you !! You have saved me hours of pain and headache and tons of $$.

I found this poor girl in a shed, she had been given to a 16 yr old to "fix".
The tank was dented and rusting, one side cover was broken in two. The carbs were laying in the dirt with something using them for a home.

Here are some before and after shots. As you can see she still needs some TLC as I get the funds to do it.

But the good news .. she lives !!!!Very Happy Runs sweet, easy starting and good mpg.

pd750 - No I dont, it had been hacked together sometime in the past.

It was welded ( very ugly ).
I hit it with some silver paint just to cover it up till I get a new one.

Doesn't sound to bad, very quiet.

Well to answer my own question..

from http://www.hondapartshouse.com/ I found that serial #'s start at 3000006 and ended at 3008810.

So 8804 were built 29yrs ago. I wonder how many are still kicking ?
