New to the forum and I wanted to introduce myself.
The names Tim and I am in Gilbert, AZ. I recently sold a Road King Classic and my wife surprised me with a project `80 CB900C for my B-day. She scored it for $150..... I know, huh!
I am am going to be scouring this forum for assistance from top to bottom and will probably be asking questions galore.
First question I have, would be, are there any after market petcocks and filters available anywhere?
Thanks and it's good to be here.

Hey Tim, Great to have you!
You have just entered the "Twilight Zone". Get ready for some fun and laughs.
I personally do not know of any aftermarket petcocks. You should be able to score a used one on Ebay.
The thing to look out for is the thread differences between the years. |

Welcome to DOHC Customs.
Aftermarket petcocks are a joke.
Just spend the money and buy a Honda petcock and you will be better off.
Any inline filter will do you justice but a paper filter is best and that is an item best bought at a local motorcycle shop. |

Any chance that you can send me your contact info? I am probably going to be in need of some mechanical assistance with the beauty of mine. Mainly carb sync.
Thanks,
Tim

Faster, are you saying that I can run without a filter in the tank and substitute with an inline filter somewhere before the carbs? |

that tank filter is just a screen, some of the petcocks have a screen in the too,and a catch basin..an inline filter is the best |
