I’m not new to riding, but I am new to learning how to work on bikes.
I bought a 1980 CB750K 2 years ago as a project bike and it has sat in my garage til now.
I call her Dr Pepper.
She ran when I bought her. 😆 she stranded me in town when I was riding around and I haven’t been able to start it since. Even on a trickle charger.
My plan is to basic maintenance and new battery, new gas and go from there.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Looking forward to talking to you all.

Greetings and salutations
Big Crank ETX15L battery is the only one you want to spend money on.
www.batterymart.com sells on Amazon so you do not have to pay shipping if you are smart enough to be a Prime member.
Before you go any further, open your gas tank and looks inside with a flashlight and a dentist type mirror. You are looking for rust and when you find it, there is only 1 real way to deal with it, epoxy lining.
When you realize carburetors are over your pay grade, guys like me are here to pick up the slack. |
