Word up groovers, tinkerers, riders and gurus of all things CB ....
Just saying hello as i am recently the proud owner of a European (French Import) Cb750F 1981 that i will be learning as much as i can on.
Frame No: RC04 - 2302680
Its got 55k on its clocks and is a little "tatty" to prove its millage but it looks all there.
It did run when i bought it but having gone through an overwhelming amount of info on here already I'm going to look at those valves clearances first (SeanG) after a bit of a tear down.
I've got all the time in the world to do it and there may be weeks when i dont touch her but at the mo i'm like a kid with a new toy.
I have to admit i'm not a traditionalist and aiming for an aggressive cafe look but i would like to get her running to the best of her potential and see where that gets me.
I have to say though i'm overwhelmed by the knowledge and information you guys have put on here. I'll come to it when i need it but Sean G's checklist is a great starter.
Many thanks for being here.
Much Love
