I've been restoring/reconditioning bikes for 20 + yrs. I have a auto repair shop here in central mass. cars are my livelihood and bikes are my passion. I've mostly owned gl1000 and gl1100 goldwings (i seem to gravitate towards naked wings). I just picked up a cb1000 with a factory fairing (looks identical to the fairing on the '80 gl1100 I have here for sale). the cb1000 is in remarkable condition, I would say an 8+ on a 10 scale. 17k original miles. just going through some basic service work. i'll post a picture when I can. looking forward to learning about the bike on this site.
