I'd love to ride in on the white horse and save ya, Justin, but I'm getting ready to work a project that's going to take me away from home for extended periods of time - the earliest I could touch your carbs would be mid-September.

If the shop really buggered 'em as bad as they did, they should at least give your your money back and offer to trailer the bike back to your home for no fee.

Pick up a set of used carbs off flea-Bay, and either rebuild them yourself, or ship 'em to me in September, and I'll do ya right! See my rebuild doc in my signature - all the details (including where to ship them if that's the way you want to go) are in there.

Thnaks Sean, I had hoped you might have had a set ready to go, but not that lucky this round it seems, lol. It may end up being that just cause I would also need the parts to rebuild a set &/or mine. The problem on mine, is that even the felt o-rings and the brass bar for the butterly valve all needs replaced as its tweaked on 2&4. he also was showing me that the fuel rail bar on top is leaking as well, where it leads to #4 i beleive from looking at them. Sad

On a good note for the sop though, here's the update: They are bringing me the bike back to my home on a trailer for free and only charged me for the parts and 1 hour labor. Jerry at the shop was very curteous about it and didn't give me any issues or haggle on it as well. In fact, he offered the discount saying only that he wished he could have made it cheaper for me, and that was when he said he could bring it home for me as well with no other charge! It's always nice to see good business practiced in a shop like that.
In the future, I hope to be able to buy a good bike they're selling and get them to work on it if and when needed, but likely a long way from that, lol. I'm going to try mostly working on this one myself as much as possible, especially since I know I can come somewhere great for help now.
Good journey to you Sean and I will definitely let you know what happens by September. By the way, would you be able to message me with what and where my best option for getting a complete rebuild kit, minus the air cutoff valves (which I have brand new now and will just move from mine to whatever I get)? (If its in the manual, my mistake on forgetting it, I've read your carb doc 3 times, just been a crazy day with my son, lol)

Oh, and another update:
Nevermind to my question on where to find the parts SeanG. I somehow missed the last page for the parts you guys offer and was able to do research and find the Randakk kits as well. (pretty simple once I realized what I was 'missing' in the document read over, lol Embarassed

)

Working on the pictures, got them resized, now just have to go back and look over how to post them, since I couldn't paste into here with my text.
