Hello from Colorado, I’m a new member and a long time DOHC Honda enthusiast! While in College, In 1981 I bought a brand new black/orange CB750F Super Sport trimmed out with all of the Hondaline accessories including fairing, luggage, backrest and even a Honda tank bag. I rode that bike for years and toured all over Colorado with it. I can’t remember exactly why I sold it but I’m sure that it was probably some ill-justified stupid reason. I always wished that hadn’t sold it! Recently I found the same bike on Craigslist and picked it up for a song. ‘81 black/orange 13K miles. All original except for the exhaust. I’ve restored the carbs and changed oil, plugs, air filter. It runs great and I’m having fun! I’d really like to find all of those Hondaline goodies. Listen to me, stuck in 80’s…..well I’ve got to go, a re-run of Miami Vice is on…. Laughing

Cheers!

Nice to have you here. I understand the nostalgia - my bike is a replica of what my dad rode when I was a kid.

Welcome to the forum. The dessert tray is to the left.

Here's some pictures of my 1981 CB750F

Things that I want to do:
-Replace the Kerker 4x1 with stock exhaust
-Replace seat cover
-find some stock handlebars

I'm going to keep the original faded paint and scratches......I like that.

Nice! Welcome Very Happy

When you say you found the same bike - do you really mean its your old bike? That would be pretty cool. Its still pretty cool of you found one like it, just not quite as cool!

I bought mine in 1980 and came so close to selling it a few times over the years. Getting hit by a car was a biggy, having little kids and couldn't ride, back in school with no money, got another bike and didn't ride this one, and so on. Glad I still have it.

Have fun with that second childhood! I know I am! Razz
