Don't y'all me you Cuban wannabe... I was born in Texas and I grew up in Califuckya.
OK, since I'm a keeper of the keys here, I gotta tell you that we're not real big on chopping these rare bikes. I have 3 of them in the more available varieties, but a 750 Nighthawk is the rarest of them all.
You might want to duck about now, because when the rest of the members here learn that you chopped a 750 DOHC n'Hawk, you will be mostly rancid meat.
Show us some pics... if it's not too bad, maybe we'll give you a clue how to make that disgusting piece of shit run.
BTW, I know exactly how to make a 750 into an 1123, and I have the parts and knowhow to do it, but I will not post it until you tell me how sorry you are to wreck a vintage rarity like your DOHC Nighthawk. Good fuckin god. |

Now that was exactly the reply I was lookin for.
I went to your Myspace site and really didn't see much about your Nighthawk.
Seriously though man, we (several of us here) are looking for restorable 750 Nighthawks. We know enough about these old 750 Hondas to turn them into 1123cc superbikes and we also hoard the parts to do it. We can even point you onto fuel injection if need be, but Keihin flatslide smoothbores work really well on these beasts.
Feel free to stick around, dude from Illinois, and use the search engine to find some old informative posts. This site has had several restarts in it's few years, but most of our older members have endured through the changes. We are here to stay.
Welcome 750chop to the roster, guys. |

750chop is right and that was incredibly rude Gene. 'Cuban wannabe'?? Threatening a ban? And most of all loudly jangling the 'keys' to the site. If that's how the 'small minds that log in here' as you say want the keys to be used then you can have'em to jangle all you want. |

Ok, panties in a twist and all, I guess it needs to be said, chopping a bike is no more offensive then what Gene is doing to his bike. I wasn't aware that the members of this website had to approve of what someone dose with THERE OWN MACHINE!
I guess I'll start a thread where can approve of ban a long standing member of the these CB750/900/1000 forums.
I hope I can still stay on.
750Chop, I for one welcome you to the board. |

Chop jobs aren't for me but if that's what people like then that is cool with me, people customize their rides to suit themselves all the time. Regardless of how the bike looks it is still a Honda DOHC on the inside and will likely suffer from the same illnesses that most of us have experienced.
If I had a new bike I would like to customize it to make it different and not look like the other 50 buzzing around town. For my 26 year old bike, being in the stock condition it is in makes it rather unique and different in these parts.
Welcome to the site Chop, don't let Gene scare you off. He really is one of the good guys here and is a walking book of knowledge with these DOHC hondas. |

No but John probably has a picture.
Gene, we knew it wasn't really you but your evil twin. Takes a big man to step and admit he erred. Kudos to you.
Now, Astro, where were we? |

Thank you Gene, i sincerely appreciate your apology and accept. Ive been broke and stealing smokes from friends for the past few days so i understand. We have something in common as well i tend to get loud as a result from sailing with the Captain too much. All is well... now, i believe we were on to what i can do to make this 750 an 1123 or something... my original post was to ask about the 900 cams? Side note, the bike was hit in the ass while parked by the lesbian that had it before so the rear frame horns were bent... i just chopped them off put a solo saddle on it and lowered it and hardtailed it. its been the hit of every bike night ive been to with it and have put almost 2000 miles on it in the past 5 weeks... needless to say, i ride this beast! |

Hey. You and Ray have a 'hit by lesbian' story in common. Welcome back Astro. You are among friends dude. (but keep your hands off our smokes and off Smokes too) |
