hey everybody, my names mike and i just bought a 1980 cb750c. I am so excited, I have loved cb750's for about 10 or 12 years now. I'm 30, I always thought i was gonna ride all thru out my 20's but it never became, and now me and my wife have one car for our family. I bicycle 10k everyday to work and I just decided this was gonna be the summer I caught up with myself. I just found this 80 cb750c for $600. it starts up, idles and revs fine, straight, new tires, old saddle bags. owner needed money, says it needs a stator only, dosent matter cuz i'm so happy to finally have what I wanted. gonna spend the next month or so just goin thru it all before I even try to ride it, oh ya I've never ridden before, still gotta get my license lol but I am a licensed mechanic and avid bicycle enthusiast since memory so lets go cant believe I'm here now and I found this forum full of knowledge and great stickys at the same time! cheers everybody. oh p.s I live outside Toronto if anyone rides the area and wants to shoot the breeze sometime |
