Plexus is the bomb!

Or is it "da bomb"? Or is it "da shizzle"?

I can't keep up with what the kids are saying these days...

Maybe one of those plastic headlight lens restore kits would do the trick?

Don't want to start a debate with the pros, but I have that exact same fairing and it has a metal plate down by the plug stamped "Pacifico"...

I just looked at a Pacifico on e-bay and the turn signals look different to me

Along with that, I thought all Wixoms were fork mount fairings, rather than frame mount, as this one is.
Maybe Rider can take another look...

It may be a Pacifico fairing . Wixom and Pacifico are very similar in styling , early on .

The Wixom was used primarily on BMWs and a good share of them were handlebar mount .

Pacifico was big in Yamaha dealerships .

OD ,

Obviously you were not aware that Wixom also made frame mount fairings . They weren't as prevalent as the bar mounts . ( right click the pic to 'view image info' )

That red fairing looks different than his black one around the signal light. The black one's signal light is molded more to stand out, while the red one looks more set in.

That is correct. It was because of that very photo that I didn't say anything at first, as you say it is a Wixom and it is obviously a frame mount, that would mean that my belief that all Wixoms were bar mounted would be in error.
However, once somebody stood up to differ with that, I was quick to jump on board with my 2¢

At any rate, Hondaline and Vetter are the fairings I am most familiar with. I didn't really run with the Yamaha or Beemer set in the 70's and 80's.
Wink And both fairings are different enough from the "norm" to be pretty cool!

I have tried to find some king of marking or something on the fairing, but have had no luck. I enjoyed the weather today and put close to 85 miles on 'er! Very fun just crusing around, although I was with some friends with "crotch" rockets. Was still nice to get out there and ride with somebody, gets boring by yourself Razz. I believe once I find some turn signal mounts I am going to do away with the "bitchin' fairing" Wink. It's just not my style, and my work is about 3 miles from my house, so even in some type of rain or something I think I'll be fine..Probably won't even take it out in the rain if it is, just drive my old Toyota camry lol. Next weekend she's staying inside and getting a complete detail.

I want to take off the seat, tank, and a few other things and really get it looking nice. I had MANY compliments today about the bike and the condition its in, which really really excited me. The bike is even older than I am!! Hahaha, I love it!!

EDIT: How come my signature will not show up? Read the post about pictures and stuff but still no luck... Question

I fooled around with your sig and got it to work. I had to insert a blank line between the pic and the text for the model of the bike. The sig parser is finicky in this software.

Too bad you don't like the fairing. They do have nice lines. I will take some pics and try to post...
