Hi all,

I recently took ownership of a '79 CB750F that has been sitting in the original owner's garage for over 30 years. He's a longtime family friend, and this was the first bike I ever got a good look at when I was a kid back in 1999, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

I have no real experience with working on motorcycles, so this is all new to me, but I'm excited to get my hands dirty and learn.

Other than the three decades of accumulated dust and grime, it's in really good cosmetic shape for also having 25,000 miles on to odometer. I think it would be a really nice gesture to get it cleaned up and back in operable shape. Thankfully there are plenty of great resources available, and I'm looking forward to going through all of the knowledge stored here to hopefully make it happen!
