Hello everyone just joined the group - have a 1981 CB750 project bike

Non runner at the moment and have traced the problem to lack of compression on cylinders 1&4 ?

Great info on valve clearances and which how not to turn the engine over - checked and all on the tight side - 2 thou or less - so resetting every shim and will re check the compression once the valves are not held open

Will let everyone know how I get on
Many thanks malc

Welcome! There are some really helpful, experienced people on here. But, even if you don't have dohc experience, you're sure to have knowledge to add.
