Just got these two 900c's off craigslist for $800 with clean titles. At first I was just going to take and build one runner...but with a clean title it feels like a waste. So then the plan was build the 80 into a bike for the wife and the 82 into a cafe of sorts since I have wanted one for awhile now.

Left one is my 2002 Yamaha Vstar 1100, middle is 1980 900c, and right one is 1982 900c.

I know my garage is a mess! Its a two car garage that barely fits my 3 bikes! It was a whole lot worse a year ago when I was building my 83 yamaha 550. I only had enough room for the bike and maybe some standing room! yikes.

Oh and I have been looking the bikes over. I found the 80 only has 17k miles but the PO has neglected the piss outta it and the 82 has 32k miles and looks almost brand new (dare i say). Both need some good TLC. Only real problem I have found is the PO bastardized the frame...and for what?! To mount a different seat... Shocked

UGH didnt even paint over the crap welds...

I know what you are saying about POs, for some reason the PO chopped off the rear section of the seat support on mine too Evil or Very Mad

Then put the stock seat back on Question

I guess you can say he had an Idea or vision, but they were just bad and not thought out.

Welcome!
