Howdy Neighbour,
Welcome to the site.
Some folks may comment on you paying too much but if it's been truly rebuilt to a high standard for my money you may have save yourself a lot of time and effort.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
I go up to Jasper a few times a year. Maybe we can ride together on the BJ. I know what you pervs are thinking... but around here the BJ stands for the Banff Jasper Highway. One of this worlds most scenic roads paralleling the continental divide for 3 hours of non stock amazing views around each curve.
You should add your model and year to your signature in your account. Makes it a lot easier tfor othersanswering any questions and reference your ride in general. |

Well, what kind of bike do you have? You can go to tinypic.com and upload a pic from your computer and paste the image code into your signature. Make sure of the size to fit in your profile too. I'd like to see a pic of your bike. |

$10,000.00 worth of receipts! And I thought I was over the top when I paid $600.00 for the bike and then dropped another grand in it to fix it up and get it running. That guy must have really needed the money to let it go that cheap. Oh, welcome |

shops charge $50 + plus an hour
start adding up, diagnosing and repair
i bought a 750c a few years ago, for $350
the shop that guy took it to, sold him hundreds of dollars of parts, hundreds of dollars in labour
the bike had a burnt ex valve,that for $100 , i fixed after i bought it |

Hi,
To post pictures on this board, you need to first open an account on a photo hosting website such as Photobucket.
http://register.photobucket.com/
Once you have an account, you can upload your photos from your computer to the Photobucket account. When you get ready to upload, you can use the image processing software on your computer to size your photos to 640x480 pixels, or you can edit them using the tools provided by the hosting site. In any case, you'll want to ensure your photos are limited to 640x480 pixels.
To post a photo in a thread, or in your signature (sig file), hover your mouse pointer over the picture in Photobucket. A drop down box will appear below the photo with several lines of code. Right click, and copy, the code with the IMG tag. Then paste it in the edit box where you have been typing to post your words of wit and wisdom.
The process is essentially the same to put a photo in the sigfile, except you are editing your profile (click Profile in the links near the top of the page). Also, ensure photos intended for the sigfile are limited to 150x150 pixels (i think that's the correct size). Personally, I select the "clickable thumbnail" option on the Photobucket site and paste that code into my sigfile.
Hope this helps, or at least gets you started. |

Oh, I read my way through all the links in pretty much everybody's sigs already. As well as all the stickies in each topic. I just figured since this was a specific question, I'd attempt to answer it directly. Kind of the difference between taking the welcome basket to the door, versus leaving it at the mailbox. |

Well, the reason I mentioned it, is that info changes and gets updated all the time. It's kind of an ongoing project. In the admin account, my edits bypass the edited time and date tags too, so they won't indicate an accurate date necessarily.
OD, I liked your post and am going to include it in the Picture posting thread, giving you credit for it of course. |
