Hi guys,

I bought my first bike about a month ago, a MINT CB750C. Just came across this site and thought I'd introduce myself.

I've taken the goofy windshield off:

The bike is great and pulls and revs like a demon; other than it sitting for 2 years (needed a good carb cleaning and fresh fuel filter), it's awesome. I'm planning on a cafe/bobber build over winter.

Hi there, and welcome, but why do you want to take a 'mint' condition bike like that - which is very nice by the way - and destroy it by turning it into a chopped up confusion of a machine?

Hi and welcome. If you must .... just get in touch with Holysmokes, and he'll send you some spare hacksaw blades. Wink

Agreed, that bike appears to be in nice shape.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I'm ansty for a project and the lines of the CBC fit well with what I have in mind. I understand the mentality of keeping it stock and keeping it mint, but there is part of me that can't leave anything alone Laughing

you probably couldn't make it "mint" if you wanted to. parts are getting too hard to find anymore.....because too many people get a hold of these bikes and cut them all up.....sound familiar?
a word of advise. get it running good first and ride it as it was meant to be before you go and invest a bunch of time modifying it. you may or may not change your mind about the chop job, but at least you will have a better idea what a good bike is like before you make irreversible changes.
funny, there are so many XS750s and GS750s out there just crying for modification....
