Hi there! I`m from Alberta Canada. I am going to restore my old `80 750 and thought I would join so you gentlemen( and ladies if any) can help me along the way. I luv my Hondas (currently own 5) and my 750 was my very first street bike (bought brand new when I was 15). Hope to meet some people and get some great advice. Cheers!

Welcome to DOHC Customs River.
CBR900RR and a CB750C, what an extreme difference in riding styles
Stay warm and busy, it is gonna be a minute before you can go riding again. |

Welcome to the unit! Check in anytime you like, but you can never leave.
Nice bikes! I have an 80 custom as well, are you restoring to stock or thinking about upgrades? |

Awesome Cowtown, how was that? We have only done a few rivers across the pond(new Zealand and Nepal). Over the past 25 years we have concentrated on the rivers from Alaska down the west coast( mostly Northern BC, Wash., Idaho and Montana. We have floated the Colorado three times on private permits(last time in 2004) and have been concentrating on the Yukon ansd Alaska lately(Firth, Alsek, Tatshenshini ansd such). I could go on, so I won`t bore anyone, after all this is a bike forum, lol.
PS. I support hockey in Alberta, but will never admit, publicly at least, that I like the Oil, lol |

Sorry. You'll have to leave. Only fans of true hockey teams allowed on here.. Such as my Habs!
Where do you find white water in Alberta? Doesn't the oil dirty it all up? |

The Habs? from Montreal?
You got to be kidding right?
Actually they are my 2nd favorite team, but only when they are playing the Oilers...
The plate on my truck says "GO OILERS GO" in big letters.
In small letters under that is says "and take the Eskimo's with you"

Let's clarify for those in the south that wouldn't know that the "Eskimos" is the name of the football team in Edmonton (CFL). Don't want people thinking that we Canadians are a bunch of racist bastards that strive towards oppressing our native peoples and not allowing them to integrate(that was the bastards of 150-200 years ago maybe) |
