So I had 78 CB750F back "in the day." I bought it while stationed at Nellis in the early 80's. My uncle gave me a 79 SS (I guess he saw me drooling over it) I brought it home last Saturday. He can't find the key, his son, my hillbilly cousin has it. So I yanked the ignition switch off today. I'm going to take it to a locksmith and have a key made.
The bike is in so-so shape. It's going to need new cable, tires, and probably a good carb cleaning. The rear shocks are pretty rusted too. I figure I'll get as much rust off the bike as I can and paint the badly pitted piece flat black. First off, I want to get it running and I'll probably have to find a airbox. Someone yanked the airbox and put pods on it. Some people!
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and I'll probably be in here nosing around and asking questions.

Hello, how old are you?
A midlife crisis?
Don't think you're going to be getting old, at the rate the US government is fucking us, you are already past your best if used by date and the spoiled stamp is close to being applied. |

Thanks for the welcoming me. I will spend some time getting used to navigating. Hopefully I'll avoid asking the same questions that have been answered a zillion times.
