Hello!!!!! A friend and I are rebuilding a 1978 Honda CB750F and a 1979 Honda CB750L! We're super excited but we are also not trained mechanics so we thought that joining this forum in order to ask some questions might be the way to go! We look forward to the rebuilds and to joining the community. Thanks!

I've read the stickied threads involving the checklist of things to go over. But is there a stickied thread of things that people recommend replacing for certain on these bikes? I'm trying to get all the parts budgeted out. On my last project, I bought things like an M-Unit, new ignition system, new charging system, all the electrical stuff essentially, I tried to modernize. Is there a website that the forums trust (hope that request doesn't count as advertising) to get stuff for these bikes? Also yeah a stickied list of things that must be replaced with a full rebuild. Thanks!

There's just the maintenance checklist, which is stickied, but also has a link in my sig.

When you rebuild a bike, you go through everything and do what's necessary, it's not necessarily the same for any 2 bikes
