I wanted to rebuild cards i got them separate in parts and i need a repair kit,
i cant get that in Poland so i check on ebay and find one with free shipinng, but on the auction is information that the kit fits only cb750 from 80' and 81',
main is 82'. But i thougt that all carbus are the same from those years, am i wrong?
Can i buy this kit to my honda cb750 c 1982 ?

Hello and welcome.

I just checked BikeBandit, a supplier here in the US, and they have Honda factory carburetor rubber kits for your '82 750C for $36 each. Those are good kits, but expensive. They are nice in that they include bowl gaskets. Also, they have every o-ring in the carburetor bank, including the fuel and air tubes connecting the carbs, and the little ones on the mixture screws, assuming you buy 4 kits.

The negative: they do not include new float valves. But...the tips on the Honda factory float valves are made of Viton, a very durable and chemically resistant elastomer, so keep and use your factory float valves if at all possible.

I am afraid of those ebay kits for $45 that include everything. It just seems too low a cost to me.

Another option. There is a member on the list here who has kitted up o-rings for $5. Then there is a US supplier called Randakk that has bowl gaskets in Viton.

Ahh...another thing...consider new carburetor rubber mount devices called 'insulators' by Honda. Old insulators cause nothing but trouble when you are in the dial-in phase of your carburetor project.

Spend some time searching the forum here for other discussions on this subject. You will probably come up with a strategy.

Welcome to the site Paweł ... Smile

The '82 carbs have removable idle/slow jets . '80 - '81 have pressed in idle/slow jets .

Welcome to here wave

Free shipping is a very poor standard to base your carb rebuild kit purchase on.

I'd be very cautious about buying cheap carb kits from unknown sources. There are many disappointed customers that buy cheap carburetor parts that are not high quality and cause them more problems.

Best kits are from Randakk. And buy real Honda OEM or Keihin float valve parts.

We have another member in Poland goes by username "Wyder" here. He knows a lot about what to get and where over there though, and has a nice bike with custom made parts and such. He's in Torun, Poland, which I guess is about 250KM from you.

You could probably PM or email him and he may have some input for you on where to get the good stuff there.

My guess is you just need the rubber parts that are in bad shape. The brass usually can be cleaned up. Like Gene said, Randakks has a nice rubber kit for sale and is regarded as a good buy with no worries.

Using a ultrasonic cleaner is the best way to clean carbs. I use it for the carb bodies mostly and chem dip for the small parts.

I agree with Duke. I replace all the rubber parts ( o-rings, accelerator pump, and the float valve= needle) except the air cut diapharm, and I do the by-pass on them.

aftermarket needles can be poor quality, other than that everything thing else is usable
