Hey there. New to the bike world. Complete beginner. I have a 1979 750F that was handed to be as a "take to dump" bike. Trying to scrounge parts to finish it enough to have some fun on. I'll post some pics when I get home.

Max pic size is 640x480. I changed a couple of yours to links because they were too big.

I've been to Yuba City many times. I grew up in Paradise and Chico, and still go see relatives up there.

Welcome here wave

Thanks guys. Yeah Yuba city is not bad. I'm actually born and raised in Redding CA.
So the bike is kind of a mix of colors right now but I think the frame will stay red since it was powder coated but I'm not sure about the tank and the rest. That was just paint I had and thought I'd spray it. Don't like it though.

Cool site here. Seems to be a good mix of all different types here. I'm on several car forums. Like to gain the most I can from anything and everything.

Wow. That's nice. That is very similar. Doesn't look bad at all.
I'll have a lot of questions and need for parts and what is the proper way to do certain jobs on the bike. I've been reading and searching on here for a while now. Is it okay to ask questions and get decent advice?

It is ok to ask questions, I do it all the time. I just try to read the manual first and then do a search to see if they have already been asked first. Pics and questions are good here. Good luck on your build.

it's the continually asking common questions that annoy us

or getting pissed at us for answering truthfully
