Hello, all! I just picked up an '81 CB900 project bike which is currently in about a thousand pieces. I'm thinking I'll do some touchup work on the engine and frame while its apart, but nothing too crazy.
I have a 500cc Suzuki that I've taken apart and put back together half a dozen times, and I've done a few tear-downs on friends bikes, so I think I'll be in good shape. I'm sure I'll have question, though.

Let's get started!

Wow, thanks everyone!

Pics? Delivered.

Frame and wheels:

Exhaust, forks, and tub of miscellaneous bits:

And the engine:

She's a little rough, and I'll probably be needing a new gas tank, but I think there's potential.

Thanks, Grumpy!
The 919 Hornet has been my dream bike for quite a while. It didn't occur to me that the bike I have is its predecessor until I saw your signature.

How is it?
