Thought I'd drop a line to introduce myself. I picked up a 1981 Honda CB750C from my cousin yesterday. This is my first bike and I am planning on getting her running, then go from there slowly getting her back to good. Should I just start a build thread for questions and going through the process of fixing her up?

Welcome to the site, build threads are great, especially when there are lots of pictures. I have a build thread in the K section but ask my technical assistance questions in the appropriate topic area.
Good luck.

Ok. I'll see if I can shrink it down and repost. |

Yes, I'm missing the right side cover. I have the left, but it's not in very good shape. If you have a set you're not using, just shoot me a PM with what you want for them and hopefully we can work something out. I wasn't going to worry about the cosmetic stuff just yet, but doesn't hurt to get a few things here and there. Thanks!
I set my upload setting of PhotoBucket to the correct resolution. I read that in the new member section, but I thought it was only if you were uploading/attaching to the forum itself.
Thanks for the welcome! |

Hmm, I think maybe something got mixed up. We don't care what resolution you keep your originals at in Photobucket. We just don't want them to show bigger than 640x480 when displayed directly in a post. |

That's right. However, if most of what you do at Photobucket is for display here, having it automatically resize and store them at the right resolution upon upload is a real convenience.
You can always change your preference setting if you're uploading for something else. Pretty sure that however you have it set at the time of upload is how the pics will be stored, at least that's how it used to work. |
