Am I glad I found this website!

I've been trying to figure the picture thing out, and as soon as I do I'll get some posted. My son and I have taken our 1980 CB750C down to individual nuts and bolts and we're getting ready to sand blast the engine, paint, and put it all back together. So I'm looking forward to getting some good advice from this group.

Thanks in advance!

Please put the year and model of your bike in the signature section on your profile page and set "Always attach signature " to YES .
NOTE : In order for your signature to show up in posts you also have to check the box that's labeled "Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)" when making the next post . This only has to be done once . Thanks

Welcome Perry! I'm a fellow Washingtonian during the spring, summer and fall. I live on the eastside near Spokane. I joined this forum last winter and found the site invaluable when I was restoring my CB 1000C.

Since your the original owner, how about some specifics regarding your bike. Pics are always appreciated. Very Happy

Thanks for the welcomes!

I'll get the pictures.

Some info - my wife and I honeymooned on the CB750C in 1981! We're still married, and we still ride (that's probably why we're still married Laughing ) although we've moved up to a VTX.

If this picture works, its my son and I two years ago at the International Motorcycle Show in Seattle with the 750 on display in the History of Motorcycles exhibit. At that time we had done most of the external cosmetic restoration, but now we are down to the inards! Mostly we wanted to get to the fins in the engine casing.

here... Any picture file that is used with image tags needs to end with .jpg or .gif or .png . A variable won't work.

Image

this is what's between the img tags:

All things considered and the PITA involved to figure out what the filename and path really is, it's a whole lot easier to just use photobucket. Wink

Couldn't help but smile when I saw your picture with the BSA floor exhibit in the background. Bikes like yours and mine put the "beezer" on the ropes. Let's hear it for rice burners!!! band

Yeehaa!

Yep, there were more Hondas than any other brand in the History display. Although that bike that's cut off on the right was a little Hondamatic - those didn't exactly revolutionize the motorcycle world!
